
Nicole Cestone is a graduate counseling trainee currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness at New York University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from Lehigh University. She is currently completing her clinical training under the supervision of a Licensed Professional Counselor at the Center for Specialized Psychology.
Nicole provides therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related concerns, emotional difficulties, and other behavioral challenges. She takes a warm, collaborative, and client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring treatment to each individual’s unique needs and goals. Nicole incorporates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy to support clients in building insight, resilience, and meaningful change.
Nicole previously completed an internship at Columbia Psychiatry / New York State Psychiatric Institute, where she gained valuable experience working with individuals experiencing more complex and severe mental health conditions.
