Nadina (Dr. Dina) is a postdoctoral psychology resident working towards obtaining licensure as a psychologist. She is also a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of NJ. Dr. Dina earned both her Doctorate and Masters in Counseling Psychology from Felician University, where she also completed her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
Dr. Dina provides individual, couples, and family therapy to adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults diagnosed with a range of clinical conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use disorders, and mood and personality disorders. She also has experience working with survivors of domestic violence. Additionally, Dr. Dina has treated clients referred for therapy by the justice system, including those involved in drug court, parole, probation, and the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCPP). Her clinical background includes providing treatment in the inpatient, outpatient, and college settings. Her diverse experience in the field makes her a valuable asset to the CSP team.
Dr. Dina utilizes an integrative therapeutic approach that incorporates evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, and a psychodynamic framework. She can also perform psychological assessments used for providing insight into a patients cognitive and emotional functioning, accurately diagnosing, and implementing appropriate treatment. Her therapeutic style is characterized by honesty, compassion, warmth, and a non-judgmental outlook. She believes that building a strong therapeutic alliance is essential for effective treatment and for assisting patients in achieving their goals.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Dina has experience teaching at the college level. She has served as a professor at Felician University, where she has taught courses such as Lifespan Development and Aging of the Older Adult.
