Maryia Bokhan is a graduate counseling intern enrolled in the Advanced Certificate Program in Mental Health Counseling at Alfred University. She is currently gaining internship experience under the supervision of a LCSW at CSP.
Maryia obtained her first masters degree (M.A.) in Applied Behavioral Psychology from St. Francis College. She is also a Professional Certified Coach accredited by the ICF, specializing in Emotional Intelligence assessment. Maryia further holds certificates in Trauma and Gestalt therapy.
Maryia provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults in English and Russian. She can also engage in conversational Italian. She specializes in treating stress, anxiety, trauma, depression, and PTSD. Her professional interests revolve around motivation, self-confidence, and life transitions. With a background of living and working in diverse cultural contexts, including Belarus, Qatar, Italy, and the US, she brings a multicultural perspective to her practice.
