Kelsey Alden is a graduate counseling trainee, pursuing her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness from New York University, Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Kelsey is currently acquiring her clinical hours for state licensure. Kelsey has a Bachelor’s degree in Integrative and Alternative Health Sciences from Arizona State University and has studied at the American Yoga Academy as a 500 hour Registered Yoga
and Meditation Teacher.
'Kelsey provides compassionate, trauma-focused, client-centered care and relies on a strong academic foundation, as well as a variety of experiences to help discern client’s unique care needs. Kelsey provides individual, couple, and family therapy services to children, adolescents and adults. Kelsey provides a safe space to explore client’s emotional and behavioral struggles. She integrates different therapeutic techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) to help client’s find tools for managing distress. Kelsey uses evidence-based approaches to support her
client’s growth and help them build more meaningful and purposeful lives.
