Julia Kruczkowska is a graduate counseling intern pursuing her Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Seton Hall University. She has completed all prerequisite coursework and is currently attaining clinical hours under the supervision of an LCSW at CSP.
Julia provides individual therapy to adolescents and adults in English and Polish. She incorporates components from CBT, ACT, and Person-centered therapy in a customized approach that is adapted to the unique needs of every client. Julia's therapeutic approach focuses on compassion, empathy, attentive listening, and patience as she assists clients in overcoming challenges by teaching coping strategies to help clients regain their lost hope and motivation.
Julia also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Montclair State University. This educational background enabled her to work as an optometric technician at a neuro-optometry practice. Through this experience, she had the opportunity to assist patients who had endured traumatic brain injuries and concussions. This exposure provided her with insights into the profound impact of a single traumatic event on an individual's life and enhanced her ability to empathize with their challenges.
