Brooke DePaul is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey and a National Certified Counselor. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Minor in Human Resource Management from Sacred Heart University, and went on to complete both a Master’s and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Professional Counseling at Seton Hall University. Brooke is currently working toward full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) under the supervision of a licensed clinician.
Brooke provides individual therapy to children, adolescents and adults, as well as couples and families. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient hospitals, residential treatment centers, outpatient programs, and private practice. She has worked with individuals facing a range of mental health challenges, including symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, ADHD, and OCD. She utilizes an integrative, evidence-based approach to therapy, drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while incorporating elements of Mindfulness and Psychodynamic Therapy to tailor treatment to each individual.
Brooke’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and focused on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported and empowered. She is dedicated to helping individuals strengthen their resilience, deepen self-awareness, and develop greater self-compassion as they navigate meaningful personal growth.
