Bailey Williams

Graduate counseling trainee

Bailey Hodari Williams is a graduate counseling student pursuing her Master’s degree in Mental Health and Wellness at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. She is currently acquiring clinical hours under the supervision of a licensed professional counselor at the Center for Specialized Psychology. She previously attended the University of Arizona for a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a minor in Fashion Technology.

Bailey provides individual therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults. She creates a supportive and uplifting space where clients can explore their personal narratives, emotional experience, and foster their journey in healing. She holds space for clients to speak freely, to rewrite their stories, and to reclaim the parts of themselves that may have been overlooked, silenced, or misunderstood. Grounded in empathy, cultural humility, and deep listening, Bailey works to co-create a space that honors each client’s lived experience, values, and inner resilience. Her clinical approach draws from narrative therapy, person-centered therapy, and strength-based practices to meet each client’s unique needs. As bell hooks once wrote, “Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion.”
