Alexandra Knight (Dr. Allie) is a Licensed Psychologist in the state of New Jersey. She obtained both her Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology and Counseling, as well as her Doctorate Degree in Counseling Psychology from Saint Elizabeth University.  

Dr. Allie provides individual, couples and family therapy, and has worked with children, adolescents and adults. She has experience treating a variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disturbances, personality disorders, developmental disabilities, as well as general life stressors and transitions. 

Dr. Allie is particularly passionate about prenatal and postpartum mental health and emotional well-being. She  incorporates interventions from numerous approaches, such as CBT and Person-Centered Therapy, as well as using a psychodynamic framework to assist her patients in achieving maximum treatment success. Dr. Allie also provides Play Therapy to children and can perform psychological assessments. 

Dr. Allie further has expertise in working with substance abuse and addiction, and is a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor in the state of New Jersey.
